Emergency Numbers

Here is the list of numbers to call in case of emergency depending on the problem you are facing, for more information you can go here :

112 : European emergency number, for any emergency requiring an ambulance, the fire service or the police
15 : SAMU, emergency medical service, in case of vital distress
18: The fire department, to report a dangerous situation or an accident
17 : Police secours, when I am in danger or when I notice that someone is in danger

Doctors and hospitals

Whether it is for a small injury, a check-up or an appointment with a specialist, here are some addresses on the Saclay plateau:

The nearest hospital is located in Orsay, it is the Nord-Essone hospital group. It should be noted that by 2024, a new establishment will be built in this sector.
There are many general practitioners on the plateau and in the surrounding towns. We advise you to use the doctolib platform which allows you to easily make an appointment online.
To find an ophthalmologist, you will have to go to Orsay where there are at least four different ones. As before, you can use doctolib. You will find opticians on the plateau without any problem.
To find a gynecologist, you can go to Massy or Orsay. Please note that consultations are open at the Nord-Essone hospital group.

Pharmacies

Here we give you some addresses to find a pharmacy. In addition, here is a link to a site that gives you the nearest pharmacy on call in case of emergency:

Pharmacie du Moulon, in the middle of the campus, it has just opened recently, it is located not far from an optician.
Pharmacy of Gichet, not far from the RER station, it remains very close to the campus.
Pharmacie de la Gare located in Orsay, a little south of the campus.
Pharmacy of the castle of Bures, a big pharmacy opened from 9 am till 8 pm in the heart of Bures.
